Cork wax. Lemon zest. Great acidity. More ish to the nth degree
this was among the top 4 wines for me at the recent @gtwinemag sparkling tasting I attended. this had beautiful aromatics. wonderful éléments of apricots, lemon, grapefruit, bread dough, nuts with complimentary textures. verdict: #haveabottle #livenowanddrink #dowrs _____ 📍@gtwinemag 🥂@clarice.owyong #12122018
At a friend's birthday with wine pros. We started with this, the only 🍾 I've never had from Arras, thanks Vanessa! 😍 9y on lees (!) have created an unusual & very complex BdB. Lemon, blossom, honey, toast, ocean spray, mushroom. Intoxicating nose. Palate shows much tertiary, umami characters. Lemon, pear, green apple, mushroom, rye bread, oyster, truffle, caramel+nougat on a long finish. Higher acidity than all other Arras I've had, vibrant & mineral, very Champagnesque 😉 4.4 12.5% abv, co
Tasted alongside 3 vintages of the Vintage rosé (2014, 2007 and 2005) at Decanter Cellar Collection on 5/11/2022 This was an outstanding wine
Amazing! Citrus blossom aromas paired with freshly baked pastries, pleasant notes of oyster shell. Densely structured wine with great presence and minerality.
Spectacularly smooth. Holds up against wonderful champagne. Doesn’t have the buttery notes of champagne but is just smooth, luxurious bubbly. Celebrating a friend’s promotion.
One of tasmanias finest sparkling wines. Citrus clean and elegant flavours and texture this sets it apart from most local sparklers.
Very goodAustralian sparkling, a full mouth of flavour.
This is actually pretty good for a diet wine at 9% alc. I expected much worse considering I’ve tried other diet/ low calorie wine. I’d definitely buy again.
Amazing Chardonnay with notes of citrus, pineapple, lime, almonds, honey and oak.
Fruity, bold and a good reminder why I always seek another wine that surprises. Ripe cherries aftertaste lingers well with the notes of Passenger's Let Her Go
Fruity nose (cherry, strawberries) - however structured and condensed palate. Smooth tannins with a long finish. Best pinotage we tasted during our South Africa trip.
93 Points, drink now until 2028. Pale yellow colour. Scents of yellow and white fruits, brioche and strawberry, ultra clear bruit and gorgeous perfume. Perctly balanced although just recently released, this 2013 wine (NV) was 7 years en tirage before degorgement. A classy Champagne-killer from Tasmania, watch out for this!
Delicious Tassie traditional method sparkling. All 3 classic varieties but PN dominant Toasted brioche, yeasty Red apple, lemon, pineapple Pithy grapefruit, orange oil Hazelnut cream, marzipan Rich, well balanced with plenty of fresh acidity Long savoury finish
Also one of my favourites, lighter style than the vintage, with citrus, apple. Love to enjoy this one a lovely spring day with friends.
Another superb Arras sparkler, these guys are so reliable. All Chard here & extended ageing sur lattes. It’s a lovely wine. Pale lemon w. fine bubbles. Creamy & autolytic w. bread dough, biscuit & textured apple skin & citrus peels. A touch of honey & allspice. Dried white blossom, white peach & a dash of caramel. Developing. Dry w. high acid backing the dosage RS. Fresh & zesty w. crisp lemon, apple, honeyed apple, creamy pineapple & toast. Charred bread & nutty notes w. med alc, a creamy mou
Straw coloured, fine bead, white florals, brioche. Palate shows a richness of flavour, pear and white stone fruit, toasty notes, plus a lovely aged honey character. Nicely balanced, textured with a solid finish. Quality Tassie sparkling
@[1|55997386|Anna Taylor] Reminded us of another great wine we love, the Tinte Wine cellars Rose of Counoise Rattlesnake Hills 2021 (which we drank in July 2022 at the winery in Woodinville and another bottle in May 2023 before Taylor Swift Night) but I don’t think is on this app. This one we picked up at Target in May to celebrate my law school graduation! Pairs well with a law degree indeed 😊
Lovely chard. Good balance of primary and secondary. Has everything I want in a Chardonnay .
@anthonijrupert
Paardeberg vines in the swardland. Raspberry and plum. Maturation in older barrels help maintain the wine’s natural underlying sweetness ito flavor.
91 Points, drink now until 2027. A non vintage made of 2017 harvest, in 2020 released. Great entry into the world of House of Arras. Rather vivid and fresh perlage, yellow fruit and brioche, as always perfectly balanced and pleasing. "Only" 3 years on the yeast, but definitely not the ugly kid amongst branded Champagne alikes! Finishing fresh and medium, probably even better in the years coming, but definitely a steal for what it delivers.
Brut Elite is a Pinot Noir/Chardonnay/Meunier blend that is very Champagne like in style. Classy kit. Pale lemon w. fine bubbles. M+ aroma intensity w. toast, lemon peel, red apple, creamy pineapple, wild strawberry & orange peel. Brioche & hazelnut. Developing. Dry w. high acid balancing the dosage RS. Crisp & fresh w. vibrant lemon & orange peels, pineapple, red apple, green apple & plum. A slightly sultana note w. toasted bread & brioche. A creamy mousse, med alc & zesty grapefruit to the l
Lightly oaked Swartland chenin, with pear and marmalade notes.
Unusual and interesting. Rhône blend but with a twist. Rhône overall but touches of Bordeaux cigar box, slight menthol initial nose/taste, bouncy acidity and a lovely long finish. Something different and good for it.
12.5% % Alc/Vol Cork Closure Pale straw in colour. Nose has green apple along with a salty ocean aspect. Palate exhibits light yeasty notes, stone fruit and citrus. Finishing lovely and long and very satisfying. At $24 from BWS Wallan, excellent value from Australia's best sparkling producer. Was originally purchased for New Year but unfortunately younger bro was inadvertently detained at our new Holiday Cottage Venture and didn't get home till late. ▶️
A very brief, minimal mousse on the pour but once past that this is a really lovely little bubbly - crisp apples resound on the palate, pause …… then a delicate touch if winter savoury appears …… the finish just as fresh and elegant. Subtle flavours to uncover - nice!
Pinot Noir, Chardonnay & Meunier here w. 10g/l dosage. Another excellent offering from one of Australia’s best sparkling producers. Pale lemon w. fine bubbles. M+ aroma intensity, bready, yeasty & autolytic w. brioche & toasted nuts. Pineapple, apple, baked apple & poached spiced pear. Developing w. honey & lemon biscuits. Dry w. crisp high acid balancing the RS. Creamy, rich & autolytic w. toasted bread, brioche & buttercream. Hazelnut. Pineapple, lemon peel, nectarine & apple. A creamy mouss
A big step up from the entry-level NV Premium Cuvee (tank method). This Brut Elite is using Traditional Method and it show in depth and complexity. Also sees 4 years on the lees. This MV is mostly 2018. The lees work shows. Nicely textured and biscuit & toast notes. Nice autolytic core. Chalk minerals. Pear with lemon juice. This should be the entry level 😉👌
Yum! Toasted almonds, fresh and toasted walnuts, lemon, green apple, and just a hint of yeast. Clean, beautiful nose. Not extra brut on the palate, very fruity, with some yeast and brioche complexity. Alcoholic bitter taste coming at very end. Highly enjoyable though. Very nice as an aperitive. With food, it's a bit light unfortunately. But at 33A$ it's a good choice. 3.8
Tasmania sparkler I had wanted to try for a while already! Champagne-like nose of fresh creamy white minerals with crisp citrus on the back. Good body, fresh crisp citrus acidity. Mouth flavors gain depth on day 2 open, with a superb backbone of a ghost of dry honey and lavender in soft lime, red currant, green apple and grapefruit peel. Very long mineral finish with light bitter blood orange peel and tangerine echo. 3,5 stars on day 1 and 4,0 stars on day 2. Delicious!
First Aussie Vivino Offline. Wine 2 of 14 (I think) Thanks for bringing this Juandre & Esther 28/05/15 Arras clean clear tight beads. Great value for under $30. Guessed it was Tassie and thought Arras but could not think of an arras under $30. But proved wrong! 2013 Crisp, dry. Nothing to complain about here. Would have a glass. Pleasant cellar door experience, look out for the Tom Samek prints on the walls, great Tasmanian artist.
Very fresh off dry sparkling, pretty strong bready and stone fruit characters. Very long finish, high acidity gives a very good balance
Eight years on lees, and this wine has unusual taste profile. The flavours are very intense, with cheesy/yeasty notes quite prominent on the front palate, alongside citrus, apple and pear. There are roasted hazelnut flavours on the mid-palate and through the finish. Very nice, but that palate really packs a punch. #TassieWhiteWineWeekend
The nose is not very promising but the palate compensate for all the loss. Very complex, quality sparkling.
Tiny, lively bubbles and vast aroma complexity make this sparkler a fantastic experience
Tried the blanc de blanc from the same house then this grand vintage, nose is relatively simple, creamy and round, lemon, yogurt, straight forward, 4.0
Nice surprise! Straw yellow color, fine bubbles. Intense nose of the yeast-brioche and almond, minerals notes. At the palate is dry and soft with a lovely acidity. Balanced sparkling wine with a creamy taste. My first Tasmanian bubble and I totally liked it!
Nose: pear, bread, lime zest and a hint of banana candy. This wine have a lot to offer on the palate: apples, bread, elderflower, gooseberries, lime juice. It's very acidic with some grape fruit notes in the finish. It's a very pleasant wine, fresh and elegant.

There is just something about the Swartland Chenin's that does it for me. Fantastic value for money this, so elegant.
Crisp and delicious a most enjoyable chenin
apple, oak, butter
I liked this wine
Fruchtiger Chenin mit Apfel und Zitrusnoten. Rundes Trinkerlebnis Dank feiner Säure.
The wood softened hugely once the wine opened up to a remarkable Chardonnay
13% fris, zuurtje maar ook hout / vanille / boter. Citrus, groene appel. Limoen. Perzik en bloemig. Lichte lekkere zomerwijn. Gedronken bij Antonij Rupert in Franschhoek ZA
Auge: Helles Gelb im Glas. Nase: blumig, Vanille. Mund: Sehr geschmeidig, schöner Schmelz, buttrig, Vanille, Holz. Abgang: Solide, mittellang. Ein insgesamt schöner Chardonnay im kleinen Südafrika-Tasting 🇿🇦
Nose instantly reminds me of a great Bordeaux wine. Nice blend of sb, merlot & petit verdot. Bitter aftertaste so give it some time & air to open up.
Black cherry and cassis on the nose with oak, earthy and raspberry. Full body with a good grip to the tannin
Subtle tastes of dark berries ander vanilla, and the smooth buttery follow through of a good Bordeaux blend.
Très sympa. Animal mais une belle rondeur.
Great wine for the price! 4.0/5.0
Muito bom!!!!
Sötma, torkad frukt
Suave afrutado
Delicioso, frutado, persistente, fácil compreensão
Very intense with black fruit, fig and dates. Alcohol quite noticeable. Reminds a little bit like a port.
South African gooddddd mandala
Soft and lovely
Deep purple tobacco infused full body pinotage. Good acidity and tannins yet light to pair when chilled with a summer salad with crispy duck!
Slightly translucent with purple tinge. Shy nose. Smooth entry. Medium bodied. Vanilla, tobacco, dark berries, lingering oak. Bushvine in granite.
Saline, honey, pear and minerality. Lemon zest and very fresh and bright acidity. In the hot weather bout this is quite a refreshing option
Hello, citrus and strawberry. Light and luscious. Way better than I anticipated.
Hextable tasting 20/05/2022 - South Africa Tour Wine 4/8 Pale yellow Color Nose of honeysuckle, dried apricot, green leaves, apple, honey, touch of oak. Mineral lasting finish. 50% steel fermentation and 50% French oak for 7 months

This is a super unique red blend. Subtle coffee notes with cherry. Hints of leather and smoke. Nice balance of body and without being too bold. Could be enjoyed with food but light enough to be consumed by itself
Coffee, dark fruit, white pepper, somewhat spicy. Bit of cigar on the last moment. I am surprised. Great purple, great taste. Subtle, not overwhelming. Great mix. Well, really a nice wine with a somewhat oily nature. A sure buy, yes!
Ruby red, bright and vibrant. Dark red fruit on the nose, elegant and. Smooth. More red berries and subtle sweetness. Good wine
Perfect way to start the annual tasting of my fave wine merchant: RealWines 🥳 50% PN, 35% Ch, 15% PM. 30m en tirage. 6g/L. Not trad method but transfer, so almost the same. Ripe apple and lemon, brioche, chalk and flint. Super frothy mousse (because of the winemaking method?). Nice fruit, to a bitter caramel finish. Touch hard, but solid. 3.8 13% abv.
"The finish falls flat on this sparkling wine, failing to capture the full essence of its bubbles. Its lackluster aroma leaves something to be desired, leaving a feeling of incompleteness." citrus toast
Red fruit and slight leather on the nose, stewed red fruit on the palate quite acidic for a red, decent tannins, medium-long finish
Light and refreshing with light floral flavors.
This wine is getting killed in the comments/reviews, but I am very comfortable giving it 3.5 stars based on taste and price. It’s bright, and has the minerality that I look for in a rosé, and also boasts an $8 price tag. Not to mention, it’s only 85 calories per serving, and zero sugar. Not bad at all , I’d say.
2017 vintage. Deep purple with church windows. Aromas of dark cherry, plums and tobacco. Dry, Smoky finish. Let it breathe. 3.9⭐️
Marshmallow pink Melon and strawberry as expected Crisp acidity. Perfectly boring
まあまあかな、、 in berowara water inn
Pretty good for being low calorie, low alcoholic content and zero sugar. Delicious and balanced I added some frozen watermelon to balance out the flavor.
Vermelho rubi intenso, aromas de frutas vermelhas, cerveja, chocolate. Corpo médio, equilibrado, boa acidez, persistência média, taninos redondos. Harmonizou muito bem com massa ao sugo.
Bom vinho. Cai bem com cordeiro.
Medium body , safe bet
Easy drinking, fruity flavour - maybe good chilled
