A great Pinot ! To me, a good full bodies pinot - a classy Central Otago style. Lots of red fruits - strawberry, raspberry, cherry. Easy drinking Pinot. I had it with strong soft french cheese and it was excellent !

Zingy bastard

A delightful aged Block 3 with an ethereal fruity nose of raspberries and spices. The palate is broad, succulent and well structured with a very fine lingering finish. Not surprising this is up there with New Zealand's best Pinot Noirs.

This wine is extremely well balanced. Very prominent fruit notes but a smoky background that makes it pretty unique among New Zealand pinot’s.

Wow, this is incredibly concentrated and savoury. Reminded me of burgundy in a way. So much earth, dark fruit (blackberry, dark cherry) and a beautiful floral lift. Lovely acid line that carries all the way through the finish. Even better when you have a magnum of it!

showing lots of promise at this odd stage, some oak on the cheeks is there, palate feels surprisingly light, elegant and salty, good strength and backbone but not super balanced right now. give it some more time.

Medium to deep ruby colour. Strawberry, raspberry, cherry, sandalwood on the nose. In the mouth, sumptuous layers of dark fruit, plenty of body, a pleasing earthiness, acidity keeping it fresh and a lengthy finish. Is it worth the price? Not quite sure, but it’s very, very good.

This is my first Pinot Noir from New Zealand. It has a crystal garnet colour and offers mysterious aromas of herbs, prune, leather, brown sugar, and forest. It has the M+intensity. Aroma character with raspberry, strawberry, red currunt, vanilla(oak), smoke(oak), mushroom,. M+flavour intensity. Dry. M+acidity. M tannin. M body. 13.5% alcohol. M+finish. ドライな凝縮感のある果実味。樽の香りも程良く、アクセント程度のグリーンな香り。余韻も長め。

NZらしいわりかし強めのレッドベリーやチェリー、土とスパイスの香り。色は少し漆黒を帯びたレッド。 口に入れた瞬間チェリーの風味が広がるもピノの割にカカオとブラックベリーに近いタンニンと、鼻を抜ける微かなトースト香。まだまだ持ちますね。

Gorgeous rose-like aroma. Rounded mouthfeel with light tannins and a floral aftertaste. After decanting for an hour, the aroma is further enhanced and the taste is exquisitely balanced. This is indeed a very well-priced Pinot Noir. I wondered if it would be even better if it were left in the cellar. I also felt it has potential. バラのような華やかな香り。丸みのある口当たりに後から軽いタンニン。余韻もフローラルな感じが漂います。 1時間ほどデキャンタすると、さらに香りが引き立ってきて、絶妙にバランスの取れた味わい。さすがに良い値段のするピノノワールですね。 セラーで寝かせたらもっと良くなる？可能性を感じました。

3.9 淡いストロウ。シトラス,ピーチ,フリント,白い花,栗。 ミディアムボディ。全体像は異なるのだが,このシャルドネはつい先日飲んだフランス·ジュラはボルナールのシャルドネと一部分だけ似ている。栗のような…ふくよかでシャルドネにしてはどこかくぐもったようなニュアンスが…そしてフリンティーな所も。 優れたシャルドネだが,欲を言うなればもう少しクセが欲しい。

saawaanにて。 樽感、バニラ感。そして酸とミネラルも感じる、独特なワイン。 美味しい。

Quite a nice red wine. Smells a bit musty, oaky. Taste is quite oaky as well, and a bit of vanilla.
