As for me that sample is classic Cherry Medium dry, medium sweet, raisin, dried fruit , pleasant flavor and nice afterwards. Drink & enjoy scheme
I am not a fan of sherry, but this one I really liked together with apple pie (skånsk) and vanilla sause. Really really good!👍🏻

Характерный добротный херес. Цвет насыщенный золотистый. Цветочно-грушевый аромат. Вкус груши, цветов, дуба, хлебной корки, меда персика и ириса. Звание хереса явно не позорит. Цена отдельный плюс.

За акном вясна з брудным снегам, вецер і каля нуля. Херэс прыносіць справядлівасць у жыццё, ураўнаважвае і кампенсуе негатыўныя кліматычныя ўмовы. Можна і без каміна, і так грэе душу. Excellent example of basic PX with unbelievable for this type of Sherry acidity. Barbadillo performs great again! 100% Pedro Ximenez from Sanlucar de Barrameda (Cadiz, Andalucía). Matured in oak barrels according to Solera method and with access of oxygen for 3-5 years. Mahogany colour with amber rims. Excelente! Complexo, doce na medida certa … caramelo, melaço, uva passas e gostos da passagem em madeira. Cremoso, álcool bem presente mas gostoso. Vale a pena ainda que o preço não seja convidativo.

Bone dry, good acidity, medium - body, long length with walnut, salty olive finish. Very good sherry, fabulous with lemony olives, Serrano ham, fried squid, any kind of tapas really.

Wow.. blown away by this taste bomb. Tasting at dan's, will be going back to buy a bottle for sure. Doesnt taste like the sherry my dad kept in his crystal decanter all those years ago. Toffee, molasses, nutty, creamy and smooth with an amazing bouquet. Really impressed.
Pale lemon color. Aromas of banana, saline and bread / yeast. This was good for a sherry. Sherry is just a difficult taste to acquire.
Dusky brown-orange in colour and highly aromatic of sundried white raisins, prune, toffee and ocean spray. God I love the bouquet. Thick and syrupy in the mouth, it is sweet but not over the top. A hint of alcohol burn on the way down (19%ABV), but who's complaining? Sure this lacks complexity but has great length, is warming and invigorating :-). I'm actually salivating as I lick the inside of my mouth - the flavour really hangs around. At $AUD9 a half bottle its worth a try!
4/5 This px ( my favorite sherry genre) has a bit of a simple nose, but a better taste. The big In is the mouthfeel though. As all px's, it's more desert oriented, so sombine with stuff like blue cheese, or other intense deserts. It pours a dark amber, with a subtile, straight up raisin scent. Not that intense (nor complex) for a px. Taste is very full, sweet, raisins, but rather simple, sweet and intense. Very sticky ( to the glass, but also in the mouth). I love px, but this is my least favor
Nearly no aroma (except some metallic notes) when cooled to recommended temperature. The first impression is caramelized apple jam. Second impression reminds raisins but with some woody notes and acidity.
Darker amber purple colour. A bold sherry with a delightful nose of Christmas cake, walnut and cherry. Too sweet for me but still enjoyable in the seasonal moment. Raisin, nutty and caramel flavours. Soft finish
SWEET! OK, now that we've established the dominant theme: great on the palate, very thick, almost syrupy, so the strong raisin and plum flavor lingers along with a solid bourbon finish. There are also more subtle tobacco, clove, and citrus (lemon) undertones. A perfect finale for a good meal in lieu of dessert!

Сладкий, перезрелый инжир, пересушенный изюм. Еще яркий вкус расплавленной на августовской жаре ириски. Но весьма и весьма неплохо.

Много черных ягод, потом овощи, жаренные в месте, все время фоном подлесок, грибница. При этом оч сладкое, но гармоничное. Оч интересное.

It has that unique brown green colour of Pedro's. Lovely bouquet and oh my god it is thick,sweet and treacly. Strong coffee and chocolate on the bouquet and palate.

I don't like eating raisins but I guess I like drinking them. I drink this straight, mix a drop or two with scotch, and add it to bourbon. I use it as a substitute for vermouth. Weird that I really like this.

This sherry is so enjoyable to sip during the harsh Arizona winter 😉. The predominant flavor and aroma is toasted walnut balanced with dried apricot, burnt toast, and prune.
3.9/5.0 Noble medium brown color. Pronounced intensity. Oxidized. Aromas figs, hazelnuts, maple syrup, orange marmalade, nutmeg, dry apricot, honey, toffee, prunes, raisins. Medium sweet, medium acidity, high alcohol, med + body. Resume: very good, and rather balanced for such type of wine. WSET4 tasting
Hazelnut, dried fruit and quite acidic. It lacks a little warmth given it does not have a long finish. No tiene un abrazo bastante fuerte. Superb with steak. The dry sherries are certainly not for all but are growing on me. This dry oloroso is a good introduction to trying a fino.
Big and thick nose with lots of dried raisins, plums. Mouth is oily and alcoholic at first, soon giving room to a wonderful nut feeling (macadamia walnut pecan), with a nice warm long finish into dark roasted nuts and earth. Also a hint of well-cured meats (ie pata negra which it pairs beautifully with, forcing through the fat and taking one to nutty heights). Pairs well with true dark chocolate (80%+).
Fortified wine produced with Palomino grape and aged 5 years in soleras with 500l "botas" with partial contact with air (oxygen). The resulting wine has an amber color and intense aromas and flavors. On the nose, it gives off aromas of dried fruit, plums, dates, oak, cocoa and smoked. In the mouth it has a medium body, it is dry, but with a slight sweetness, and flavors of dried fruit, herbaceous and smoked. It is soft and has good acidity.

4/5 pours à darker mahonie. Scent is relatively subtile, nice refined nuttyness, oak, not boozy at all. Got an aged character, but I hoped for more intensity. Taste is full, very dry mouthfeel, intense aroma's in the mouth. Very mild alcohol, intense nuttyness, a doughy character underneath. Long lasting aftertaste. As this is a cheaper version, I must say it's really good. My preference goes to the longer aged, but that's of course a different price category.
Very nice elegant example of Oloroso Sherry distinguished by great balance and very friendly price. 100% Palomino Fino from Sanlucar-de-Barrameda (Sherry triangle). Attractive amber colour with golde hints. Aroma of caramel, raisin, and nutty notes - walnut and hazelnut. Taste of dried fig, almond, ash, honey, bitter orange jam and cinnamon. Medium acidity, long aftertaste. Once again Barbadillo shows great result in price/quality ratio competition among Sherries!

Almond, Raisins, honey Dry wine. Very drinkable, best served chilled. Followed a somm’s recommendation and paired it with the last thing I would have though of pairing it with: huitlacoche. Great pairing. Must try.

Jerez bem apanhado. Nariz gracioso, com nozes, amêndoas, melaço... Na boca é uma delícia, mostrando ótima acidez, notas salinas, casca de laranjas, figos, tabaco, e taninos bastante macios. Oloroso, Oloroso! Bacana e amoroso. (90/100)

The last place of the cream top3 of this great tasting in Union Española de Catadores, this one from Barbadillo and blend is made before bottling. Medium amber. Nose with white flowers(!), dried fruits (walnut), dry orange peel, mint, spices and balsamic. Very impressed! Sweet, great acidity, nice body sensation (some viscosity), clearly the dried fruits in palate and raisins. Finish is impressively long! Greatest value of all Creams tasted!
Aromatic with herbs and spices and welldefinied relationstips with sherry. But also minerals in nose. Also in palate a very dry sherry taste. Different but really good. Very moderate sweetness.
Continued notes from Barbadillo Masterclass. Always turned off by this label, the idea of cream Sherry, something that grandmothers cook with turned me off big time. Boy was I wrong! This one is a blend of Orolroso & old PX. Maintains acidity and nutty notes of Orolroso combined with a touch of sweetness from from the PX in the form of prunes and raisins. Definitely recommend!
A sweet fortified wine produced as a blend of Oloroso sherry (Palomino Fino grape - oxidized maturation) and sweet sherry produced with Pedro Ximénez grapes. It is very aromatic and intense on the palate. Medium amber color, dried fruit, caramel, molasses, and fig in syrup. Full-bodied, smooth, creamy, with a long finish. My last bottle. I kept for at least 14 years, but I had to open it for my mother in law during dinner. (4.2) Fantastic nose with cigar box, iodine, toast, caramel, dried plums, dry wood. Medium plus acidity, medium sweetness, smokeiness, sticky, dried plums, raisins, hints of sulphur, laurel, coffee, chocolate, balsamico, clove, fine burning finish. Man is this great with Tomme covered in grape pressings cheese (!).
4.1/5 This cream sherry has a better taste than the scent makes you expect. It works great in or with deserts, like cheese. It can also be consumed 'on the rocks' (not for me) and is made up of 85 %oloroso and 15%px. It looks dark amber, with a full, sweet, more simplistic scent than gives more room to the alcohol to pop out. It's taste is full, sweet, raisins, intense fruit. Oxidation is very hidden in this one.
Gran equilibrio entre la palomino y la px. Válido para postre y para entrantes, lo recomiendo para maridar con buenos ibéricos.

Dried figs, caramel, walnuts, orange jam, stewed stone fruit, cinnamon. Oxidative, but just a bit, so that it loses it edginess. And it does not get cloying, but, quite on the opposite (and for reasons I can't fathom) it remains fresh. Taste it with a spicy Gorgonzola, and you'll wonder how you ended up in Heaven after indulging in so much vice! An extra half-star for that!

A very good cream (ЗНМП). Очень хороший, но простой херес. Темно-янтарный, уходящий в коньячный, цвет. В ароматике много фиников и кураги. Пробиваются и другие сухофрукты. Хорошее тело, сахар не выпирает. Он в главной роли второго плана. Во вкусе те же сухофрукты и испанский тёплый ветер, принесший мысли о хорошем хересе. Продолжительное приятное послевкусие с тонами сухофруктов и оттенками орехов. Симпатичный дижестив. Рекомендую.

Interesting affordable sherry. Pale gold color. Aromas like dry fino. Oak, almond, dry herbs, black cherries. Medium body. Delicate sweetness. Pears, oranges, bitter lemons, herbs.
Typical sherry produced with Palomino grapes and aged in French oak soleras. Straw yellow, intense and complex aroma of ripe fruits (apple, pear) and floral, mineral and dried fruit notes. Light to medium body, creamy, high acidity, semi-dry, repeats many of the aroma's flavors in the mouth. Long finish. Can be paired with desserts and also served as an aperitif.
4.2 já partindo para o primeiro adocicado, traz caramelo, nozes, amêndoas e também uma mineralidade semelhante ao Jerez fino. Muito bom!

Cremoso en boca, se sienten notas a miel y pasas en un final muy prolongado. Very delicious fortified wine, very nice pairing for a cheese cake. Nice raisins, almonds, toffee, honey, cream, yeast and orange skin aromas. Creamy on the palate, honey and raisins hints in a very long finish.
Astonishing good. A perfect match with ice cream of chocolate, but also with other desserts. Creamy, sweety, divine. The color is like ambar, brilliant, clean and transparent. Aromas of honey, almond, vanilla and hazelnut. Very persistent. Good value for money.

Muito equilibrado do começo ao fim, com final de boca picante e prolongado (mais de 10 seg). Tem tudo o que esperamos encontrar em um ótimo oloroso. Bravo!

Jerez fortificado de Palomino Fino que envelhece 5 anos em carvalho, em Solera, com crianza oxidativa (sem a proteção da "flor"). Nariz com nozes, amêndoas, bastante oxidativos, algo de caramelo e azeitona. Em boca é intenso, um tanto untuoso, tem corpo médio, acidez médio-alta, média concentração de sabores repetindo o nariz, e final persistente. Licorosos, aromas de oxidação típicos. Na boca é corpulento, cremoso Acidez média pra mais, salivante Muita fruta seca, caramelo, mel, melaço de cana e interminável.
De cor dourado intenso, aromas de pera oxidada e melão madura, camomila e flor de laranjeira, alguma amendoa crua. Acidez media, doçura media, mineralidade m/g corpo medio, final m/p deixa amendoas. Delicioso! Complexos belos aromas para sobremesas mais leves ou queijos curados, presunto cru, conservas.

Sortint d'entrenar parem a un nou local de vins i m'ofereixen aquest a copes. Sort que no me'l van oferir a ampolles perquè probablement haguessin desaparegut totes. Voldrem tornar-lo a catar sense la set que portàvem a sobre pq no se si es gaire fiable. Però si em guio per aquell moment, un rosat de PX estupendo!

Pues es mi primer oloroso y no sé muy bien cómo abordarlo. El color es ámbar miel, y me huele a miel, almendras y nueces. En boca es complejo y alcohólico. Me recuerda a los orujos dulces. En fin, tendré que probar más y habituarme par poder juzgar mejor.

First of two sherry tastings at Dan Murphy. Eva Cream is a combination of around 80% Oloroso and 20% of Pedro Ximénez sherry Amber golden colour. Notes of fig, raisins, bit nutty. Medium bodied and lightly sweet. Rich with fruit and toffee flavours. Nice drinking.
It tastes like the entry level facsimile of something great. Still QPR wise, I could drink more of this than is good for me. Colour. Medium amber. Nose. Coffee, caramel, toffee, fennel, burnt butterscotch, crème caramel, molasses, walnut. Taste. Sweet, high acid and alcohol, full bodied, fruit like the nose plus a bit of fig. Finish is med. Very good to outstanding.

Cream sanluqueño de la casa Barbadillo. De color caoba, siendo dominante las notas aportadas por la Pedro Ximénez, con aromas predominantes a uva pasa y almendra. Ideal como postre con quesos azules, de aperitivo solo, o maridarlo sin miedo con unos higaditos de pollo encebollados (así lo hice).
Muito bom Cream. Produzido por um mix de Oloroso e PX. No nariz mostra aromas de frutas secas (especialmente nozes), caramelo e um pouco de mel. Na boca é doce mas não enjoativo. Não é muito intenso e mostra acidez mediana. Muito agradável.

I really like this Sherry, dry and rich with nice flavor profile. Med to dark amber with some dark orange hues. Nutty aroma on the nose of black walnut. Same on the palate with dried fruit like raisin, salted citrus. Med long finish with plenty of that toasted nutty goodness.

Вкус спокойный, диджестивный, нерасхлябанный, легкотельный, слегка сливочный и одновременно диетический - немного куцеватый - коричный бисквит, жёлтый изюм, сухофрукты для компота, фундук, цукаты, календула. Достойный недорогой шерри. Очень приятный, но невыдающийся.
Deze cream sherry is er één die zich aan het moeilijke imago van sherry probeert te ontworstelen. Hij heeft de oxidatieve tonen van sherry, maar met zijn zoetheid wordt het ook een beetje een allemansvriend. Op een proeverij kregen we hem puur te drinken, maar hij werd ook ingeschonken met een schijfje sinaasappel en een ijsklontje. Dan wordt zo'n sherry meteen een feestelijk aperitief!

Après mon premier Rhône américain, mon premier vin mexicain, ben ici mon premier sherry. Ouvert en accompagnement du dessert (glace à la vanille et fruits rouges), ce sherry s'est descendu comme une lettre à la poste. Une belle couleur ambrée, un nez sur les fruits secs et notes chocolatées; en bouche, belle intensité et une sucrosité contenue, très belles longueurs une nouvelle fois sur les fruits secs. Наконец-то попробовал херес. Янтарный цвет. В аромате почувствовал ореховые ноты, сухое яблоко, осенние травы, дерево. Вкус очень сладкий, небольшая горчинка пытается создать баланс. Ощущаются пряные осенние травы. Послевкусие обволакивающее. Вино понравилось, но сахара многовато.
