Ein fantastischer Wein! Am besten auf dem Weingut genießen. Es ist traumhaft dort.

Amazing wine. It's 'just' a reserva (the winery also sells a magnificant gran reserva and a 2015 reserva that tastes similar to me), but it has it all. Deep inky colour. The wood and vanilla massaging your nose. In the mouth: full body, balanced tannins, round with red and (mostly) black fruits. I saw two people mentioning a soury taste (that's all it does not have). Either that's a bad production, the drinking temperature was too high or the bottle was open for too long.

Un vino de puta madre. No puedo valorar el RCP por que fue una caja que conseguimos dando un palo en un Mercadona de Vallecas. Sabor afrutado y de una gran equilibro al mezclarlo con Cola Mercadona (también del palo). Una vez acabada la botella, tiene gran resistencia al usarla en una pelea.

Reserva 2009. Very well-balanced and smooth. Notes of dark fruit, smokey flavours and a lot of body oak vanilla black fruit plum smoke and sweet at the same time with black tobacco and burnt caramel. slight flavours of black licorice . High in tannins. The colour is a rich dark red and the texture is also silky. Let it breathe for a couple of minutes. Loved this wine so much last year, I bought a nitxos full this year. Beautifully smooth, complex, nice and fruity - plum and blackberry, lovely Reserva.

Deep forest/swamp smell. Strong oak taste with black fruits on the pallet. Final very dry taste that greatly compliment food ( like red meat). A real great wine

Dark garnet with medium plus viscosity. Smoke, leather, oak, black plum, black cherry on the nose. Acidic and dry with heavy but not unpleasant tannins. On the palette is similar to the nose with a note of graphite on the long finish. I decanted this wine 2 hours prior to tasting. A very nice wine that has aged well. Be mindful of the sediment in the bottle.

Two vines in one bottle so great complexity! Ripe dark fruits like blackberry, blueberry and more bramble, dried plums and black cherry rocking with mokka coffee, cacao, black pepper and sweet spices, tobacco and a nice touch of toasty wood and a little vanilla, something soily too. Powerful taste, lot's of freshness and a very gripping structure making it elegant and muscular, with a great potential, ending juicy long and strong.

cherry red fruit chocolate & vanilla. This is a wonderfully chewy Rioja that punches way above it’s weight. Fuller body and more fruit forward than a classic Rioja. Great value.

A very nice Rioja. Fruity and fragrant. 95/5 ratio of Tempranillo/Graciano. Color is medium ruby, intense aromas on the nose, slight oxidation, of Blueberry, vanilla , dried tobacco, dried fig, black molasses and dried leaves. Med bodied, soft tannins and acidity, 14% ABV. Palate is as intense and complex as the nose, black cherry, compost, plum, cigar ash, dill, sandalwood & worn leather. Long finish, nice savor w/ subtle spice. I like this one, impressive and will seek out again.

Very enjoyable Rioja showing that a bit of age really adds to the experience. 5% Graciano added to the Tempranillo with 16 months in French and American barrels. Earthy nose with cinnamon, lots of coconut, vanilla, blackberry, black currant and cedar followed by a juicy palate with balanced, fruity acidity & dry, spicy tannins, sweet prune, black cherry, coconut, vanilla and nice finish.

かなり濃いルビー色。 バニラ、樽、チョコレート、、の第二アロマ。回すと果実の香りや鉄っぽさが少し出てくる。熟成感あり。 渋味、甘味、苦味、そしてまろやかな酸味のフルボディ。

飲み口は軽やかな酸味その後果実味溢れる味わい、軽くタンニンを感じる。バランスが良く飲みやすい

A very enjoyable 7 year old red Rioja. Big, bold and elegant. Showing black fruits with cedar, vanilla, leather, spices, earth, chocolates, tobacco and peppercorn. Full bodied and dry with medium acidity and nice legs, with a great nose. Nice length on the finish with spices and firm tannins. Wine Enthusiasts 92 points. A little young and harsh at this point. Dark red, nearly black. Classical Rioja/ Tempranillo: Cherries, currant and woody nose. On the palate complemented by plum and more oak finish. Exactly medium dry, voluminous, very fruity medium tannins. Medium acidity and looong cherry and plum finish. Perfectly balanced. € 15,- is a lot of money- still this is not just another „everybody‘s darling“ but a wine with a recognizable „adult“ style. Definitely a re- buy. Toasted oak, with a nice smell of cedar together with smoky aromas. There are also notes of coriander, mixed wild berries. Full bodied. High tannins. Potential to age even more and be perfect in another 3-4 years.

Deep dark violett color in the glass. Very fruity in form of cherry and blackberry together with nuances of oak and cedar. Medium in body, rather high acidity and medium well-integrated tannins. Overall, a well-balanced Rioja Red with quite some strength, very solid complexity, however lacks a bit of structure. (4.0)

Red berries, sour cherry, chocolat, pepper and smoke in the nose, medium body, high acid, high tanin, sour red berries and some wooden aromas on the palate, medium finish. Tanin and acidity in good balance.

This Reserva needs ti breathe, opens up nicely to dark cherries, chocolate ... The fruit may be a bit overwhelming but the right food match makes the wine very enjoyable. Long peppery chocolate finish.

At $15, it's utterly lovely. No denying its fruity, but don't let that put u off. It isn't overly sweet, there is good oak, spice and subtle black pepper here, even moderate complexity and a tinge of grapefruit. The nose is lacking, perhaps the only flaw. But with a price like this and big flavor, it surely a crowd pleaser for even the slightly discerning. I'd totally buy again.

One of my favourite vineyards in the Rioja, this 2012 réserva is almost as lovely as it’s home. When I visited the vineyard in 2016, I stayed on the room on top of the tower you can see on the label. A great view with greater wine. This one comes in as a very drinkable Rioja with a medium body that serves up some expected cherry and oak as well as some dried figs and toasted vanilla. And it smells as good as it tastes!

Nice wine. I try to sub in for classic French wines and no matter how good, the Classic French is ustally better. So enjoy this as an excellent quality Spanish wine.

I bought these Spanish ones from one place and it seems this shop likes this Rioja style. Heavier more Mediterranean leather vanilla light shoeshine. Higher tannin. This ine quite in balance nothing is too much.

En boca untuoso, elegante, acidez media, tanino medio con muy buena estructura, cuerpo medio y persistencia larga y gustosa. Muy buena RCP y recomendable.

Cor rubi escuro, aromas de frutas vermelhas em compota, especiarias doces e tostado. Encorpado, saboroso, equilibrado. A característica das frutas em compota não me agrada muito.
