Outstanding. Could drink this everyday. My kind of wine. Such a treat for a young Barolo. Arms Reach tasting with Fee, John, Will.
98/100 柔らかいオレンジが縁に出たブラウンガーネットの色合いは惚れ惚れするほど美しい。 複雑なブーケがありますが、むしろみずみずしいプラムやブラックベリー、煮詰めたイチゴのような赤い果実の香りも感じられ、かすかにバニラなどの甘いスパイスやローストウッドの微香が燻るように立ち上る。 甘く柔らかな味わいで、滑らかな質感があり、タンニンはシルキーで果汁のような甘酸っぱい風味が感じられ、余韻は非常に長く、熟成による香味よりも、フレッシュな果実や花の透明感のある風味が持続していく。 カンヌビの特徴は、力強さではなくみずみずしさにあると思うが、それは古酒でも同様だった。
カンヌビというエリアでこの価格で購入できるのはとても嬉しい。 味わいはとてもドライで豊潤な味わい。 クラシックな作りての逸品。

Dark ripe cherry, black currants and forest floor in the nose, in the mouth bold and dry with hints of blackberries.
This is a well-built wine. Good taste and smell.
The Moment you smell it, you expect a strong bitter, not a wine, but it is an amazing combination of a desert wine and a bitter, spicy and sweet. I get tobacco, honey, sage and lime, but some spices are just hard to identify. Very interesting. Clearly a fortified wine, but I smell Jägermeister and wine, very confusing.

Fratelli Alessandria tasting wine 4: Traditional style Barolo. Garnet color. Red fruits, coffee and vanilla aroma. Well structured and long finish.
Slightly dark brick red. Frutier than the Giuseppe. Slight floral notes and earthiness. Tannins still around but approaching delicate. Med+ finish, great balance.
Deep rich red fruit of raspberries and cherries. A beautifully balanced offering in terms of tannins and acidity. This is one of my favs and perfect every time
Been waiting a year to have this. Last day of my job after 7 years. It was a good 7 years so time to celebrate. This is everything you want in a barolo.
My kind of Barolo - lighter youthful with prominent cherry. Lovely easy finish. If a Barolo was quaffable this is that. Medium bodied solid tannins but not overly grippy. Loved it so did wifey 👌🍷🍷
(4.3) Wonderful Verduno Nebbiolo from San Lorenzo vineyard and in my view feather weight for being barolo. This is all good and characteristic of the Verduno crus. A bit lighter than for ex typical Serralunga. Beautiful complexity of dark mature cherry, rose petals, wild strawberry, juniper, tobacco tones, light to medium+ body, refined acidity and balanced mature tannins. Is in a decent drinking window although very young. Good in 5-8 years and more.
Now I have to try more 2015 barolo’s!!! Soooo vibrant and exciting throughout! Decanted for 30mins. The minerality and acidity balance is amazing and extremely attractive, The raspberry, red cherry skin, new leather lays within the storm or minerals and acidity! The flow of this wine from the tip of your lip to the end of your throat is what you want I promise! Subtle maturity with hints of eucalyptus and mushroom! Find one and buy one now! Funny, since I was expecting more from vintage 2013 than this due the excellent vintage of 2012 and better points it had received from several authorities. Aromatic, spicy and elegantly intense with dried berries, some tobacco and leather on palata. Ready to drink, but certainly better in min 5-10 years. Tasted with the producer at BaroloBrunello 2017 event in Milan.
Drank this over 2 days and on the 1st it’s felt pretty much dead with funky smells upon opening but as it gets more air, under ripe red fruits emerged. It also tasted a bit flat and unstructured at that time. However on the second day is where it’s gained weight and it’s where it shows it’s potential with concentrated red to almost blue fruits, light rose syrup and a little earthiness and spices emerging. This is so interesting that I can’t wait to see how it develops further down the road.
Lovely Barolo, very well balanced. Pale brick red color. 15% alcohol but so well integrated, perfectly balanced, without decanting. Being young, I’ve decanted for a half an hour. Lovely plums and black cherry notes, licorice, tobacco and great earthy notes. Firm tannins, medium plus acidity and very long finish. Very good aging potential. Paired perfectly with lamb.

4.3⭐ Happy Nebbiolo Monday 🍷 in Nebbiolo November 🍷🍷 Oh this is a nice one! Rose, truffle salt, ripe cherry and new leather on the nose. Earth, smoke, touch of anise, tight leather, cinnamon and toasty dark chocolate added in on the palate. Smooth and classy. Medium+ body and acidity. Solid enough tannins. Long drying finish. This doesn't need more then a 30 minute decant. Delicious! Served with shrimp, vegetables and pasta in an Italian vodka sauce 😋
Rich red plums and blood oranges on the nose with some cool herbs and spice. Masculine and composed but with such a generous nature - with such soft smooth tannins. In such a good spot right now it is going to be hard to keep your hands off it!
This is superb. Haven't posted in over a year but after having two great barolos tonight I had to. This wine is full of red fruit aromas with tobacco and leather and some floral notes. On the palate very fresh and great balance and acidity. Superb value.

🔝💯 One of the most exciting Barolos I tasted so far. It is a blend of Nebbiolo grapes coming out of the vineyeards: Pisapola, Campasso, Riva Rocca, Boscatto, Rocche Dell'Olmo, Gramelere. 14% abv. Riserva 2013. 4,5 Rosso granato carico. Aromi di liquirizia, frutti rossi e flebili sentori di legno. Finalmente un barolo pieno. Grande corpo, complesso, piacevolmente tannico. Acidità media. Finale persistente e lievemente peposo. Un ottimo prodotto per le grandi occasioni.

Strawberry on the palette for the first drink. No fruit on the nose. More earth and leather on the nose. Dry with high tannin. Very enjoyable.
94/100. Garnet red colour. Enticing nose offering black cherry, prune, and plum aromas balanced with spice, liquorice, tar, and floral notes. Elegant mouth-filling flavours of black fruit, leather, tobacco, coffee, chocolate, and herbs. Full-bodied, dry, with fine but grippy tannins, polished lingering finish.
Deep garnet hue, nose of black cherry, opens with cherry and spice cake, middle is grippy, finish has licorice, rose petal and, clay pot. Paired with homemade lasagna and fresh garlic bread. Outstanding Barolo!
The last of the 8 Piedmont Reds A decisive nose shift from the previous 3 (Cavallotto, Produttori Riserva, and Carlo Giacosa). This cru from San Lorenzo is one of this excellent producer's best terroir, located in the Comune of Verduno. I didn't take detailed notes since I was getting a little toasted, but damn it's good.

Perfume, red fruit nose with some minerals. Lovely, easy and smooth on the palate, no harshness at all. Mainly cherry. Has a velvety, soft pillowy mouthfeel to it. Very enjoyable.
Barolo is becoming my preferred wine. Still very young. Hugely tannic. Good value for money. Notes of earthy, forest floor, minerals, cherry, strawberry, raspberry and plum.

2010を2025に。2009との水平。@wine&dine 外観はエッジにややレンガ色のニュアンスを帯び始めている澄んだルビー。09より少し色が濃い目。香りはバローロらしい、乾いたバラ、タール、赤い果実など。口当たりは中庸でドライ。09と比べて少しグリップするタンニン、まるみがあり、澄んだ美しい酸、赤い果実。余韻ながめ。09より多少構造が大きめだがブルゴーニュ好きに刺さるとても美しく熟成したエレガントなワイン。

A feminine and approachable style of Barolo - just in my ballpark! Feminine profile with floral and fruity elements. Fresh cherries and forest strawberries. Would love this next to pigeon with mushroom-scented sauce and potatoes.
Elegant and structured, this Barolo reveals aromas of dried rose, tar, and red cherry, layered with hints of tobacco and truffle. The palate is firm yet refined, with fine-grained tannins, vibrant acidity, and a core of savoury red fruit that evolves gracefully. A long, mineral-tinged finish reflects its pedigree and depth. Best paired with braised veal shank and saffron risotto, where its complexity and structure elevate the dish’s rich, aromatic profile.
Like the normal Barolo, the San Lorenzo shines with a balance and calmness that pleases immediately. Fine, rather light, the tannins tamed, the acidity only supporting in the background. Everything is balanced and elegant.
Young, yet the smooth and firm tannins are already approachable. The nose is mostly red fruit, oak and floral with faint savory notes. There’s a serious amount of acidity but it’s well balanced with its medium+ body and high tannins. I’d really like to try this one in 5 years or so.

Happy Nebbiolo / Piedmonte Monday If the 🐻❄️ are dancing must mean a Barolo #95. 🌾ratelli Allesandria is the family winery. ( starting 🌾 🔠 🌾un too). Age 9. Opened Sunday. Had a sip. Quick decant and back in bottle for today. Now the tannin tension is integrated. Yum. Still bringing lots of cherry 🍒 intermixed with tar / asphalt / leather . Nice acidity. Herbal grace as the cherry flows to a nice finish of earl grey tea and subtle licorice. In a good spot. Enjoyable. 💕 there Pelave
Barolo in America, and a nice one. Way too young with these chewy tannins that were a bit unpleasant, but you could really taste the quality. Dark chocolate, leather, mocca, dark fruit. It has this burning alcohol in back of your throat that is super nice when it’s cold outside. Paid $25 a glass for this, which was a bargain compared to price levels in the US.

Medium garnet in color. Raspberry, cranberry, cloves, toast, game, sweet spice and forest floor notes of medium intensity. Acidity is vibrant. High tannins are a given. Medium plus body with a long finish. Definitely too early to drink. Would be of higher quality if the body was fuller.
Happy Nebbiolo Piemonte Monday part 1😁! Winery was founded beginning of 19th century and became the property of the Alexandria family in 1870. It’s still family operated today. Very nice nose of 🍒, violet, leather. Delicate 👅 with high acidity, smooth tannins, long medium length. Nice 🍒 flavour. This Barolo I like! 4🌟! Belated tasting note kept for NPM😉! Double-decanted straight out of the 62F cellar. Medium light bodied, translucent ruby color with a bit of brick in the rim. Red fruit nose, with cool beefsteak and mushrooms on the nose. Flavor opened up over the evening with raspberry, rare steak, loam. Wonderfully complex for a young bargain wine.
Medium ruby color with aromas of ripe red fruits and elegant hints of floral. The palate brings fruit forward with cherry, raspberry and hints of fig tastes. Tannins are fine and round, a tad young with high acidity noted. The finish is medium, smooth and ends with earthy mineral notes. Very nice. Needs time.
93. Great QPR! Intense offering showing menthol, smoke, tar and espresso. Lovely interpretation of 2008, and yet still fresh and years to come in the cellar. Traditional San Lorenzo like it should be.

Very much enjoyed this wine in Trattoria dei Bercau in Verduno with the traditional regional dishes. It was a very nice experience. Soft tannins.
